Student :
I was disappointed to find a blog titled “What are Chiropractor Education Requirements?” That did not mention one single thing about the education requirements for becoming a Chiropractor.
Let me help…..
What are Chiropractor Education Requirements?
In Canada:
1)
-students are required to have 3-4 years of undergraduate University training to be eligible for chiropractic school
2)
-Chiropractic students then undergo 4 years of chiropractic school
3)
-Chiropractic students have the first half of their curriculum (2 years) dedicated mostly to teaching the basic sciences relevant to the human body (eg: anatomy, physiology). The second half of the program is more focused on clinical diagnosis and treatment.
4)
Chiropractic students must pass board regulated exams in order to qualify to be licenced in Canada
Thus, your basic chiropractic physician (trained in Canada) willl have at least 7-8 years of university schooling.
